Late this afternoon, a traffic jam on I-81 sent us home to Blacksburg on the back roads. We decided-why not?- let’s stop & see the town of Remington, VA, and attempt to say Hi to @boo21smom @snakeoakfarm. So sorry we missed you (!) but we did find a Touch of Grace next door so we got Gracie in the picture too! See you next time!

Ahhh... Maybe it's for pure relaxation and enjoyment, or maybe it is for some other biological reason, but bird "sunning" behavior seems to be the rage this time of year.

Moth mullein is a biennial and gets its name from the attractive stamens at the center of the flower. Look closely--they look like MOTH ANTENNAE!
